Scope
The management of Shrewsbury Town FC puts the safety of spectators and those working at the football club’s Montgomery Waters Meadow ground at the top of its priorities. Aside from general duty of care requirements, the management team regards compliance with the ‘Guide to Safety at Sports Grounds’ (Green Guide) sixth edition as essential. The Green Guide requires risk-assessment and periodic inspection and load testing of stadium barriers.
Solution
Rossendale Group has extensive experience in barrier testing and was able to produce a test schedule and carry out the work using modern load testing instruments. The inspector’s results are input into the Rossendale Group Certification digital app, making the reports instantly available.
Result
Shrewsbury Town FC has free access to the Rossendale Group Certification portal where they can view their inspection and test reports and see the history of their barrier tests.
