Temporary overhead travelling crane for Tadcaster Bridge repairs

Scope

When the Tadcaster bridge collapsed during floods, the two parts of the town were separated. We were asked by the main contractor, Balfour Beatty, to provide a temporary lifting solution to assist with the bridge repairs.

Solution

Our solution included the design, manufacture, and installation of four overhead travelling cranes on temporary gantries. The cranes were used to pour concrete for the bridge column repairs.

Result

We were proudly apart of the team that reunited Tadcaster!
