Employers and operatives who are using lifting equipment or working at height

The Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, The Management of Health & Safety at Work Regs 1999, the Provision & Use of Work Equipment Regs 1998 and the Work at Height Regulations 2005 require that operators of lifting equipment and those who work at height are properly trained to use the lifting and safety equipment.

Slinger Banksman TSL 1-Day Course

Aimed at all ‘slinger banksman’ personnel who are involved with the signalling of cranes and slinging of loads.

Course objectives: To enhance the skills and provide the slinger banksman with the knowledge, skills and confidence to carry out their tasks in a safe manner.

Overhead Crane Driving TSL 1-Day Course

Aimed at all personnel who are involved with the operation of overhead cranes and hoists, and with the slinging and moving of loads on hoists and cranes.

Course objectives: To enhance the skills and provide the crane driver with the knowledge, skills and confidence to carry out their tasks in a safe manner.

Working at Height TSL 1-Day Course

Aimed at personnel involved in the use of fall prevention/protection equipment for working at height. This full day training course provides the core knowledge required by any user of safety harnesses, lanyards, anchor points and their associated products.

Course objectives: To enable the trainee to identify the intended use of common items of fall protection equipment, requirements for pre use inspection and correct fitting and adjustment of a full body harness.
